Hey Dude,
This is awesome. I really like the cigarette leading the eye to the middle of the picture. Super edgy and terrific in black and white.

interesting series, but I'd love to hear more about the thought behind these images...are you promoting it or discouraging it?...or what is meant to be said to the viewer with these images?

Some people enjoy cigarettes and coffee. I just like to explore truth and document it with my photography. The theme is plainly coffee and cigarettes, and I guess the meaning is ambiguous, although there's no hidden motives or meaning behind each of these pictures. I am not promoting nor discouraging the practice of these two activities. I try and have different pictures for each assignment, and in particular I figure most kids at Fox would be uneasy showing images of scary subjects such as tobacco.

I think you have a strange fascination with cigarettes. jk. This first one is my favorite out of the series because of the contrasting lines of the coffee cup. All of the diagonal lines create movement to a seemingly still piece.
